Fundraiser/Organizer - Manitoba NDP

    JOB SUMMARY

    The successful candidate, under the direction of the Provincial Secretary, will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and monitoring fundraising activities for the Manitoba NDP. This includes, but is not limited to, major fundraising events, direct mail, membership renewal, direct ask, revenue sharing windows & constituency events, coordinating phone banks, and assisting constituencies prepare for the 2020 Manitoba General Election.

    The day to day duties vary depending on the priorities of the Party, the Provincial Secretary and the issues of the day.

    Reporting to the Provincial Secretary, the individual will be responsible for:
    • Supporting and promoting all fundraising efforts
    • Supporting membership recruitment and growth
    • Coordination and execution of all fundraising activities of the MB NDP
    • Providing regular reporting on Fundraising activities, progress and achievements towards budget
    • Presentation of workshops and support to constituency executives & members on fundraising
    • Volunteer recruitment in support of related activities
    • Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with MLAs and constituency volunteers
    • Assisting with nomination meetings, by-elections, Provincial Council, Convention related activities as required
    • Other related duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
    • Knowledge and experience with a variety of fundraising methods
    • Strong writing, editing and proofing skills
    • Proven ability to organize and implement a variety of events and outreach activities
    • Strong knowledge of NDP policy and Manitoba political affairs
    • Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Extensive experience in election campaigns in a variety of positions
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access and desktop publishing an asset

    SALARY RANGE: as per collective agreement
