2012-05-10-Doer Portrait Hanging-Welcoming new Manitobans
Former premier Gary Doer's portrait now hangs among other Manitoba premiers in RM 255 at the Manitoba legislature. A portrait of Doer, 64, was unveiled Thursday, May 10, 2012. The portrait shows Doer in front of the legislature rotunda in a navy blue suit and tie, clutching a rolled-up paper in one hand.
Later that day, Premier Selinger welcomed 30 new Manitobans in a citizenship ceremony in RM 200 at the Legislature.
